Beta Test Trip - FULL
The Pt. Reyes National Seashore has 100’s of miles of hiking trails that can be easily accessed from the SF Bay Area.
Each night is spent in a unique trail camp microclimate.
The first two days of this trip are easy to moderate hiking days. The third day is mostly uphill and can be challenging for many. The final day is a relatively short, downhill jaunt.
It’s a fast day as Trekkers are excited to see their parents and join the entire group for post trip ice cream
* All Trekkers must attend a 4 hour gear, safety and group meet on Friday, June 4 from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM
*All food and some gear is included with this trip.
*This trip is limited to 6th. 7th or 8th graders age 11-13.
*One Way Transportation to the trailhead on day one is included in trip fees.
*Trekkers must be picked up at the trailhead exit point by their parent/guardian on Thursday, June 10 at 1 PM. (1 Bear Valley Visitor Center Access Road, Point Reyes Station, CA 94956)
Trail leaders for this trip are Herb Repp and his oldest daughter Marlee. They have been backpacking together in Pt Reyes since Marlee was 6 years old.
